You can choose between a lot of color options, like, black, red, white or even grey. The build quality is amazing, and they feel rock solid. Everything is made from high-end materials, so you shouldn’t have problems with braking or something similar.

Sound

They are coming with 2 different ear pads, so the comfort is top notch. The sound is 7.1 virtual surround, with 53mm drivers. I really like and it is really good.

They are on the edge of our budget for today, but I think they are worth it. They have all the great features and they look great. I can definitely recommend them.

SteelSeries is a pretty famous brand in the gaming world, and their products are always on high level. The design is on whole another level, and if you like minimalism, maybe this is something you are looking for. At the first look, you can’t tell that these are actually meant for gaming because they are looking just like another studio headphones. They are coming in a lot of different color variants, but the most common ones are black and white. I also prefer black/white because they have the RGB color option as well. They are made of hard plastic, with nice build quality. They aren’t flexing more than they should, and they are also pretty comfy but I will talk more about that a little bit later. I need to mention that headband is my favorite thing here. It is made from a very nice material like one on ski goggles and that’s why they are great for any shape or size of the head.

Sound

The sound of these is absolutely one of the best here. I love it and gaming with these are on whole different level. The microphone is also good and clear.

Price

The price is around $100, so it is under the budget, so if you have enough money right now, you can immediately buy them. However, they are worth the retail price.

As I mentioned earlier, there are RGB lights on ear cups. Maybe this isn’t the most useful feature but it is fun to pair your headphones with your keyboard or even mouse and make a sick looking setup. This is another red and black design. I don't like it very much, but I can't say that they are ugly. I love brushed aluminum with big engraved red X.

Creative Sound is another popular brand in the sound world. They make great and quality headphones and sound cards so they aren’t some unknown brand from Taiwan. The design isn’t the prettiest if you ask me, but that is only my opinion. They aren’t looking cheap or anything similar and also the build quality is great. Everything is from good materials and I appreciate that. I love brushed aluminum on both sides, and that is a pretty nice detail from Creative Sound. It comes in only red and black color theme, but almost everything is black. I love the big logo on the side, with nice engraved red X. I love the big headband and it is also very comfortable. They aren’t the lightest one, but you won’t have any kind of problems wearing them. They feel like a pillow, and that is pretty important because I think everybody had a headset that will cause pain in less than 2 hours of wearing them. I will talk more about microphone a little bit later, but I need to mention that they made it pretty nice because it is detachable so you can wear them in bus or metro without any strange looks.

Sound

There are zero crazy and unique features, but that doesn't matter because the sound is phenomenal. Audio is rich and they have 50mm speaker drivers.

Price

The price is okay in my opinion. They cost around $80 and I think that is more than good for something like this. I recommend buying BlasterX H7.

Features

They don’t have any unique feature like lighting or something else, but who cares because the sound is absolutely awesome. Definitely, one of the best sound quality and there are a lot of factors for that. You need to know that this isn’t the new pair of headsets, and it has been redesigned and upgraded so they improved weak points. Audio is really rich, and if you have a nice motherboard that supports great audio, you will be more than happy. They are using 50mm speaker drivers so there is a perfect balance between highs, mids, and lows and that isn’t always the case with headphones. I talked a little about the detachable microphone and it also great. It has noise cancellation option, so you can speak well with your teammates while in a loud environment. The Tournament Edition in the name isn’t bragging or anything similar, it deserves to be there. On top of everything, add 1-year warranty that Creative Sound has.

Conclusion

After all, this is a pretty nice pair of headphones for a nice amount of money. They feel and sound like they cost a lot more, but the only downside, if you ask me, is the design of them. However, if you love the look of BlasterX H7, don’t think too much because they are definitely worth your time and money.

This look like a real gaming headphones and they are also pretty aggressive. I love the weird shape of them, with nice looking cups. All in all, awesome look.

This is the first pair of Corsair headphones on this list, and I love it. I love the fact that they are wireless, but I will talk more about that a little bit later. Now, let’s talk about this amazing design. In my opinion, it is unbelievable. They have pretty weirdly shaped ear cups and they have that ‘gaming’ look and feel. I love the design of big microphone, and all the details in there. They are completely black, with a nice glossy part on both ear cups. I think this is pretty cool but I don’t know if it is actually fingerprint magnet. They are RGB, so you can customize the color of the logo on the sides. The headband is pretty nice and it will fit any size of the head. Everything is made from hard plastic, except aluminum slider to adjust the right size of VOIDs. Build quality is nice, they are pretty flexible, but they won’t break under pressure. Everything feels premium, and that is a big plus for Corsair. Let’s talk about some unique features right now.

Corsair Void headset is actually wireless, and that's the most important thing about them. The sound is really great, with 50mm drivers.

Price

They are around $100 but I can see that they are often on some kind of sale. However, keep in mind that these are one of the best wireless headphones.

I said that these are wireless and I really love that feature. These are probably the best wireless gaming headphones under $100 and there are a lot of reasons for that. Let’s start with the fact that you won’t have to mess around with the cables anymore. Maybe it isn’t the biggest problem, but it is a small detail that will make your experience more comfortable. However, you will need to charge them for every 16 hours, so keep that in mind. When we are talking about comfort, I need to mention that these are really comfy and it is a pleasure playing games with them. They sound great, and under nice ear pads, there are 50mm drivers. The sound is really great, and you can even tweak anything in Corsair software. RGB is pretty cool, and you can pair them up with other Corsair essentials, like keyboard and mouse. All the buttons are on the side, and I love the position of the volume scroll at the back of the left ear. Last but not least is the microphone. I don’t like it very much and I think that is the only downside with this headset. It is okay for TeamSpeak while playing games, but for anything more than this, you will need something else.

Conclusion

Corsair VOID headset is really nice and I like it. I love the fact that they are wireless, but you will also need to charge them every once in a while. Design and sound are two biggest factors why I would buy these, however, keep in mind that microphone isn’t the best. After all, it is your choice, if you use microphone a lot for something that requires good quality, it is best to skip these headphones, but if you use it for talking while gaming, it should be fine. However, maybe this is the best gaming headset on this list?

The design is okay in my opinion. I love everything about it, but keep in mind that glossy plastic parts can get dirty. But, I love other things about it. It is also lightweight.

This is another HyperX headset on this list, but this time, I wanted to include something on the budget. They don’t cost a lot of money, so if you don’t have a big budget, keep reading this review. I will start with the design, and I think they look great. They have pretty unique shape with nice red HyperX logo on the sides. They are all black, made from hard plastic, with the nice matte finish. I love glossy black, but it can get scratched easily and it is usually fingerprint magnet. Build quality is pretty good, but I don’t suggest pushing them to the limits in term of flexibility or anything similar. I love the design of the microphone, it isn’t detachable, but that isn’t the biggest problem, right? They are pretty lightweight, and that is a big plus for Kingston and HyperX. I said that everything is made of hard plastic, but there is adjustable steel slider on both sides for better fitting.

Sound

I will tell you right now that these are on the budget, so you can't expect all the best features. However, the sound is pretty good for gaming headphones.

Price

Man, they cost around $50. For this price tag, you can't get anything more than this. But, if you are on the budget, this is a great option for you and your wallet.

Now, let’s talk about some of the features of these headphones. Keep in mind that these cost around $50, and you usually can’t get a lot for that price tag. But that isn’t the case with these ones because they are actually pretty nice and comfortable. Ear cups are nice and you won’t even notice them after long sessions of gaming. I love that they are 90-degree rotating cups, so you can lay them nice on your body. This is pretty small, but useful detail. Under ear cups, you can find 50mm drivers. Stinger model is the cheapest one in Cloud family, but these actually have pretty good audio. Everything is balanced nicely, and I think that for this price tag, you can’t ask for more. They also have volume control scroll on them, so you can fast and easy change the volume while gaming. Now, let’s talk about the microphone. It is pretty nice and I don’t think that it sucks or anything similar to that. It has noise cancellation feature, so you won’t have a problem using it in loud environments. I already mentioned that it isn’t detachable, but it has a nice feature and it is called ‘Swivel-to-mute’. So you can just lift them up, and your microphone will be muted. How cool is that?

Conclusion

HypeX Cloud Stinger is definitely one of the best budget headphones on the market right now. They have everything that you need, and the price point is more than realistic. If you don’t have enough money right now, and you want a good pair of headset, my advice is to get these. You won’t regret buying them. They aren't the best gaming headset under $100, but under $50, probably.

Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma V2

Design

We all know that Razer knows how to make good looking products. That's the case with these, also. I really love them and I think that everybody does.

Razer is well-known brand in this industry and I always liked their products. Keep in mind that this is the second version of Kraken headphones and that it is improved in a couple of different ways. They look pretty nice and I love the aluminum body. They feel a little bit heavy, but don’t worry because they are pretty comfortable. Ear cups are in nice shape and the padding on them is more than nice. However, headband doesn’t have the most padding but it is far from causing problems or anything like that. I am just saying that it can be a little more comfortable. Build quality is at the really high level, and there won’t be any kind of braking because of flexing. I need to mention that cables aren’t the best, but Razer gives 1-year warrant in case anything goes wrong. I will talk more about the microphone later, but I need to mention that I think Razer really find a great solution for hiding it. It isn’t detachable, but you can push it in the headphones and completely hide it there. This is pretty nice and useful detail.

Sound

They have famous 7.1 virtual surround sound that is amazing. It is really good for gaming, especially FPS games. They also have Razer Synapse software.

Price

You can't get Razer products for cheap, and that's the case with Kraken 7.1 also. They cost just under our budget, but I think they are worth your money and time.

Features

Of course that Razer is powered by 7.1 virtual surround sound system, and it delivers pretty high-end audio. Everything is well balanced, and you can customize it even further with Razer Synapse software. You can adjust everything in there, from sound to RGB lighting. RGB is pretty nice feature, maybe not the most useful, but I love the fact that you can customize them even more. You can even choose between 3 different styles of changing colors, so that is pretty cool. There is one downside about this headset, and that is missing volume scroll on them. I think this is a pretty useful button, and I would love to see it on any kind of the headphones. If they can put it on HyperX Cloud Stinger, they can on $100 Razer headphones. I said that microphone is nicely created, but it is also pretty good. The sound it produces is nice and it is more than enough for talking with your friends while gaming. However, you don’t want to use it for anything studio related because it isn’t that good and you can’t expect that with this kind of headphones.

Conclusion

After all, I love them. They are good-looking headphones with nice build-quality. They also sound good, and you can even customize everything with Razer Synapse software. They have some cons, but nothing special. I would only love to see volume button on them, but that’s it. I definitely recommend Kraken 7.1 Chroma V2.

Logitech G430 7.1 Gaming Headset

You can get these in different colors, but my favorite one is blue. I really love how Logitech combined matte black with bright blue. Very nice look.

These aren’t completely new headphones, and if you are in this world for a while, you probably already heard about G430. You shouldn’t be worried about the release date because they are still awesome. The look of G430 is amazing in my opinion. It is all in black with nice baby blue details. I love the matte finish so they won’t get dirty or full of fingerprints. Everything is made from hard plastic, except metal slider for size fitting. The microphone isn’t detachable, but I don’t look at that like a downside. Build quality is at the pretty high level and they are pretty flexible. They are extremely light, and there is zero pain after long gaming sessions. Ear pads and headband are pretty nice and they fit perfectly. You can take off cloth cover on the ear pads and wash them if they are dirty. I can’t go any further without mentioning 90-degree rotating ear cups. This is pretty small but useful detail, and I love it because they are nice for resting around the neck. After all, you will notice that little and useful details are usually the most important things because most gaming essentials, at the same price range, have similar specifications. 

Sound

These are pretty old but great headphones from Logitech. They are using new Dolby 7.1 surround sound and it is very good for FPS games. I like them!

Price

G430 is another budget option on this list, and that's one more reason why I like them. For this price, it is worth it. If you want to save money for something else, buy these.

Features

I was talking about microphone earlier in this review, and I will continue with the quality of it. I mentioned that it isn’t detachable, which isn’t the biggest problem in the world. It also doesn’t have a feature to mute when you take it up, but instead, it has mute control center on the cable. The microphone is pretty good for TeamSpeak and for casual chatting with friends, but I don’t recommend it for any kind of studio production or anything similar. Now, let’s talk about the sound quality. G430 has 7.1 ‘Dolby’ surround sound, which is amazing. They sound really good, and it is a pleasure to use them while gaming. I also love the Logitech sound card that comes included with these headphones. However, you won’t need it if you have good PC with the nice motherboard. I mentioned that they are comfortable and I really mean it. If you can, you should go to the closest store and try them on and you will understand what I am talking about. After all, these don’t have any kind of special features like RGB lighting or anything like that. But, you can install universal Logitech software and customize the sound there. It is easy to use and you can modify whatever you want there.

Conclusion

I know that G430 is a little bit older headset, but I think they are worth the price tag. They cost a lot below a $100, and for that price tag, you are getting a really good sound system with nice microphone. They are really comfortable and I can’t find any big downside. The choice is on you, but you should wait until the end and see my favorite pair of headphones.

Logitech G433 7.1 Gaming Headset

Design

I love the fact that you can get these in different color, and every color is nice. I really love the blue one. They are made of some very weird material, but I love it.

When I was writing this text, I said that I need to include the newer and improved version of Logitech G430. And that’s exactly what I did. These are completely new headphones from Logitech and I love the unique design of them. They are coming in few different color options like blue, red and classic black. I need to say that blue version is the best looking and the most unique one out there. I love the whole mesh part on both ear pads. This is very good choice from Logitech because G433 is even lighter now, and you won’t feel them while gaming. Everything is well-padded and extremely soft to touch, so this is a big plus for them. I love 90-degree rotating ear cups for even bigger comfort while wearing them around your neck. I will tell again that this is small, but really useful little detail. Another great thing that G433 have is a detachable microphone. Now you can simply take it off and wear these wherever you want.

Sound

I included these because they are newer and improved version of G430. They have clearer and better sound and that's the most important thing about them.

Price

However, they cost more than the old ones. You can get them for less than $100, and I think it is worth the money. However, read the whole text to see what are the best.

Features

Now, let’s take a look of some features that G433 provides. First of all, they sound extremely well. They improved their sound system and now it is even better and clearer. They have custom Pro-G drivers for dynamic range while gaming. Logitech also include USB sound card for the best possible experience with G433 headset. The microphone is great for talking to friends while gaming, but nothing more than that. You can’t get the best quality microphone with $100 headphones made for gaming. For high-end voiceovers or YouTube videos, you will need to buy external microphone that will probably cost a few hundred dollars. I need to mention that Logitech includes a lot of accessories with this pair of headphones like nice bag for caring them or another pair of ear pads, this time of velour. I prefer the second ear pads because I think that they are more comfortable for long sessions. The nice thing is that you get 2-year warranty in case that anything goes wrong with headphones but this isn’t the most common scene with Logitech because they always make rock solid products.

Conclusion

I need to say that I love G433. I don’t know if this is the best headset under $100, but we will see later. They have really crazy look especially if you get them in bright red or blue color. Sound is even better than on G430, and microphone is now detachable. There is no reason to skip this model, and at the end of the day, you won’t regret spending less than $100 on them.

Design

Like all other headphones from HyperX, these also have red and black color theme. I like the fact that mic is detachable so you can carry them everywhere you go.

Oh man, these are the third HyperX headphones on this list, and this means something. This means that HyperX really knows their business and that they are building some high-end headphones for reasonable price. Cloud Alpha’s are looking pretty similar to other HyperX headphones on this list. They are all in black with nice red accents. I love the big HyperX logo on both sides, with rock solid aluminum body. Yes, it is all made of aluminum and that is pretty nice thing from HyperX. Every part is premium, and they can flex a lot without any signs of braking, but don’t try to push them to the limits. The microphone is detachable, and I think that is a nice thing because now you can wear them anywhere you go without a weird look from strangers. They are also really comfortable and both ear pads and headband are made of soft memory foam. Because of aluminum build, they are not the lightest, but it isn’t a downside trust me. You won’t even notice them while playing games.

Sound

These are third pair from HyperX but I need to include them. They produce very good headphones and Alpha Pro is one of the best. The sound is very pleasant. 

Price

Alpha Pro is the top pair from HyperX and that's why they cost this much. But if you want high-quality headphones with great sound while gaming, consider these.

Features

These are on the edge of our budget today, but they are definitely worth the price tag. The sound on Alpha Pro is absolutely amazing. They are equipped with 7.1 surround sound system, and everything is perfectly balanced. If you however want to change something, you can do that in seconds with their software. I mentioned that they are comfy, and that is the truth. Ear pads are really soft and it is a pleasure to use them. Drivers under pads are 50mm, custom made by HyperX. The microphone is detachable, and that is pretty handy. It has noise cancellation system, so you can use them without any problems in the loud environment. It is really good for talking with your friends on Skype or TeamSpeak, but it isn’t good enough for recording some high-end videos for YouTube or anything studio related. They also have in-line audio controls, so you can control everything fast and easy. Last but not least, you can use these on any console that you own, from PS4 Pro to Xbox One S.

Conclusion

I know that these are third HyperX headphones, but I couldn’t skip them. They are really well-build with rock solid aluminum body. Sound is crystal clear, and the microphone is also nice. Comfort is on whole another level for something that isn’t the lightest. After all, I really recommend buying these and there is zero chance of regretting. Maybe, Alpha Pro is the best gaming headset under $100.

Sennheiser GSP 300

Design

These are looking very unique, and it all comes down to personal taste. If you ask me, I think that there are better-looking options on this list, but if you love these...

Sennheiser is one of the most important companies in the audio world so they know their business. However, they usually make only audio headphones that are made for studio and often quite expensive. But GSP 300 headphones are on the gaming line with affordable price tag and a lot of cool features. The design is pretty unique and you will either like it or not. You can get them in couple different color options like blue, white, red and black. My favorite one is the black one with blue details on it. GSP 300 is made of hard plastic, they aren’t too bendable so don’t push them way too hard. However, the build quality is good overall and all the materials are pretty high-end. The slider on the side is rock solid and GSP 300 will fit any kind of head without any problems. I already said that they have a unique design, but I don’t like big, non-detachable microphone but it is performing great, and I will talk more about it later. They are feeling great on the head, but they are a little bit heavier than others on this list. But everything is soft and nice to touch, so it is a pleasure to wear them while gaming.

Sound

Sennheiser is very serious brand in this world and the sound that they produce is great. Everything is perfectly balanced and it is a pleasure to use them.

Price

They have reasonable retail price and I like that. They don't cost much, and for this price you are getting top notch sound system. They are definitely worth the price.

Features

Let’s see how they sound because, at the end of the day, that is the most important thing. Having nice design or microphone is nice, but if they sound bad, nothing else matters. I will just say that they sound incredible and that is expected for some brand like Sennheiser. Bass is stepped up, and everything is balanced perfectly. You will enjoy using these while long sessions of gaming. I said that microphone isn’t detachable, but it sounds nice and it is great for talking with friends on Skype or TeamSpeak. Like almost every microphone here, it isn’t the best option for voiceovers or anything that requires high-end studio microphone. It doesn’t have the mute button but it is using the slightly different method. When you want to mute your microphone, you just pull it up and everything is done. This is small but very useful detail in my opinion and it is really fast. But there is one thing that I don’t like very much, ear pads. They are soft and nice, but they are made of some material that can make your ears sweat after some time. This is the only thing that I would change on these. I love that Sennheiser includes nice and big scroll for volume on the side for quick adjustments. I mentioned multiple times in this article that I really respect companies that include some little but noticeable details like this volume button or microphone mute feature.

Conclusion

What can I say about GSP 300? I really love them, but they aren’t the best gaming headset under $100 on the market right now. You can’t go wrong and the sound is really good, but there are better options out there. However, if you love Sennheiser, you can go with GSP 300 and you will get very good sound experience.

I need to mention that these are wireless and this is another plus for them. I love red and black design made of hard plastic. Build quality is nice.

These are second wireless headphones on this list and I need to say that I love wireless things because I’m not the best when it comes to cable management and I don’t have the cleanest setup possible. I really love the design of these and they are made of hard plastic. They are all black with nice small circle colored in red on both sides. I am not the biggest fan of glossy plastic because it is a fingerprint magnet but at least it looks nice. I need to mention nice Turtle Beach logo engraved on top of the headband. Ear pads and headband are pretty soft and you won’t notice wearing them on the head. They also fit very well so they won’t slip off or anything similar to that. The microphone is small and detachable and that is a plus if you ask me because now you can wear these when you go for a walk or somewhere else. Ear cups are rotating and this is another useful detail that I appreciate. I love it because now you can lay them flat around the neck and move head in any direction you want. All in all, design is really nice in my opinion and I will mention again minimalistic red accent on both sides.

Sound

The sound of these is clear and good, and they have 7.1 surround sound system. They have custom 50mm drivers and I need to say that I love these.

Price

Price is pretty good, but they are often unavailable. I don't know why and for how much, but you can always buy them from other sellers, also on Amazon.

Features

Let’s start with the fact that they are wireless so there are no cables or anything to mess around. Every button that you need is perfectly located in the right ear and it is easy to reach. You can control volume there really fast. There you can also find a port for charging, and Stealth 450 has a pretty nice battery life of 15 hours of listening. However, you will need to plug them into the wall and charge every once in a while, depending on how much you play games. The sound is crystal clear, featuring 7.1 surround sound system. Speakers are 50mm custom made, and it has really crispy highs and thundering lows. Everything is well balanced so you don’t need to tweak absolutely anything. There are no breaks or anything like that because the wireless signal is very good. You won’t even need to take them off while getting a drink from the kitchen which is another useful detail. The microphone is also good for gaming purposes. I love the small design and the fact that it is detachable. It features unique feature called ‘Mic Monitoring’. It allows you to hear your own voice and adjust anything you want. You can also use it without problems in loud environments.  

Conclusion

I can’t find any big downside with these because everything is fine. They don’t have any crazy features like RGB lighting or something like that, but they have crystal clear sound and nice microphone. The design is amazing, and I love rotational ear cups. If you want something wireless, maybe you should consider buying these ones. In wireless terms, maybe this is the best gaming headset under $100 here.

Plantronics RIG 600

Design

They definitely look amazing and you can't say anything against that. They have very professional look, but they still look like expensive, high- quality gaming headphones.

Plantronics isn’t the biggest audio company out there, but these are definitely great in both design and features section. Let’s first talk about the design. Well, in my opinion, these are one of the best looking headphones on the market right now. They look more like a studio headphones for singers and producers, and that’s what I love about them. They are all black with nice gold details like gold circle and stitching. They are made of plastic, but they feel rock solid and they are also pretty flexible. However, they won’t break or anything like that and the fitting is amazing. I need to mention that because of the materials used to build RIG 600, they are pretty light and comfortable. Both headband and ear pads are heavily padded with the nice soft material, so the comfort is at the maximum level. You can wear these for hours without feeling pain or even noticing anything. The microphone is detachable so you can wear them out and look pretty stylish. They have 2 microphones which is pretty unique, but I will talk about that later. After all, I really love the design and premium look that Plantronics made.

Sound

The sound is good, but it isn't the best on this list. These are using 50mm drivers with low-frequency resonators. However, it is great for gaming purpose.

Price

Price is high, right under $100. I don't think that they are worth $100, but if you can find them on sale, for around $60-$70, then you should get them.

Features

Now, let’s get on unique features. I said that they are comfortable, and that is true. Under soft pads, there are located 40mm drivers with low-frequency resonators. The sound is really good, but it isn’t really the best. The audio isn’t perfectly balanced, which can be a little problem, but most of people won’t even notice that. However, if you want the best audio experience, maybe you should skip these headphones. They also don’t have 7.1 system but let’s talk a little about microphones. I say microphones because RIG 600 has two of them. One is detachable and big and the other one is in-line so you can speak while you wear them outside. They are phenomenal and clear, so you can even do some voiceovers if you want. However, I suggest getting some another studio microphone for things like that. I need to mention that you can use these with all consoles like PlayStation and Xbox, which is a plus.

Conclusion

After all, I love RIG 600 because of great design and good sound. But I mentioned that it isn’t the best on the list, so my advice is to skip them. But if you really like the design and you are okay with good sound quality, stick with them and you won’t regret buying them. However, they can't be the best gaming headset under $100.
